Creepy News Friday used to be a tradition - one that really needs to be returned. Today's will be a bit of a hybrid.
I was doing one of those 25 Random Things About Me on Facebook, and realized I'd forgotten this random thing. When I was about 6, I was eating breakfast with my family. My brother reached up to scratch his head and discovered a tick. To this day if I ever scratch my head or pull something that's gotten stuck in my hair, I'm always relieved that's it's not a tick.
Ticks really creep me out!
So here's today's creepy news: The BigDog. Actually, it's an amazing work of science - this robot traverses across ice, snow and goes uphill...BUT IT'S CREEPY LOOKING.

Bid On Me!
Sharon Cullars has hit some hard times of late. Along with several authors and professionals within publishing we're donating services and books. I'm giving away a critique of a Golden Heart entry. My Golden Heart finalist book, Share The Darkness, was published in 2005.
You can bid on me right via ebay by clicking here. Now if a critique isn't what you're wanting, you can see everything for auction by clicking here.

New Author Talk
I've been writing writing writing...just not on my blog. BUT I've also been filming, and I can't say how excited Gena and I were to interview someone who mentored us when we were brand new authors.
Not sure how excited she was about the interview, but...oh, well. Here you go!

Good News For Gena!!
I'm working, so my blog posts are a little slow, but I did want to take a break and tell you all that Gena Showalter, my Author Talk partner in crime, and cool friend has hit the New York Times with the rerelease of Heart of the Dragon. I can say this is one of my favorite books of hers, and I'm so excited for her.

This cover looks stunning in person!
Way to go, Gena!
